Looking through a telescope from their Maui Meadows home, some delighted
islanders recently spotted two dolphins playing with a baby whale. They
hired Karen Jennings to recreate the scene on the bottom of their swimming
pool with her enormous, sculpted, colorful tiles. Other Maui pools are
similarly adorned with reef fishes, dolphin families, whales playing.
Oversized heliconias and orchids grace showers and lanais. Ceramist Karen
Jennings' custome-made tiles are changing the look of Maui homes.
